ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਲਾ ਜਾਂ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਜਰੂਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਂਉਦੇ ਹਨ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਸਮਾਏ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਓਹਨਾ ਦਾ ਨਿੱਜ ਘੋੜੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲਾੜਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦਕਿ ਬਰਾਤੀ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਮਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਲੇ
ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਦਾ ਮੇਲਾ
ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਮਸਿਆ
